It gives you decent penetration in the center of the weld, but overall won’t provide enough penetration to weld a steel joint effectively.
2. Carbon Dioxide (CO2): Carbon dioxide is the best to pick for MIG welding. It is a low-cost alternative to an Argon mix. But the problem has CO2 that gives you a pretty wide arc. That’s not constant and creates a lot of spatter.
3. Argon Mix: Argon and carbon dioxide prefer by an expert for MIG welding. It provides the highest quality of the weld. When you mix these gases, you get a much more suitably sized arc stream which gives excellent penetration and minimizes spatter.
Gas Safety: You have to be handling a gas cylinder to make sure you read all the safety manual of the barrel. Gas cylinders have high pressure. If the cylinder falls over and knocks the regulator off, it can fly across the room. When you’re opening the bottle to unload gas, don’t stand on the same side as the regulator, in case it flies off. Also, make sure you open the valve slowly and carefully.

To do this, the user recommends to place the nozzle at around a 45° angle to the joint and directed the electrode forward at about a 10° angle. Then use the cursive at “e” shape in the forehand position to push.
Vertical: A vertical weld used when the need axis vertical over a 45° incline. It commonly used in structural welding purposes. It requires more skill than horizontal welding. Because the user has to struggle more against gravity, it is called either “vertical up” or “vertical down.” It depends on welding from the top to the bottom of the joint or from the bottom to the top. The oscillate MIG gun in at “u” shape best to keep for pointing upwards at around 10° from horizontal.
When user doing a vertical weld, they keep the electrode pointing upwards but slowly bring the wire down the joint. This is a more suitable stand for welding on thinner metals.
Overhead: The last and hardest welding position is the overhead position. The tools welding by a joint that usually placed at horizontal. The welder is approaching it from the inner side. If it can put in quite an awkward position, that can be dangerous because it can sparks if falling on the ground. The first thing to do before overhead welding, make sure your body and head are fully covered.
